Spacemacsを使ってみる

今までAtomエディタを使っていたのですが、Atomのモッサリ感を極力避けたかったのでSpacemacsへ乗り換えることにしました。もちろんAtomはパッケージや情報も充実しており、使い勝手も良いので、時に応じて継続して使っていくつもりです。

インストール

インストールはhttps://github.com/syl20bnr/spacemacsを参考に進めていってください。 Emacsエディタをインストールしていない場合は先にインストールしておくことが注意点です。

軽い手順だけ載せておきます。

cd ~
mv .emacs.d .emacs.d.bak
mv .emacs .emacs.bak
git clone https://github.com/syl20bnr/spacemacs ~/.emacs.d
emacs --insecure

インストール後の設定

インストール後はいくつかの設定が残っています。 Spacemacsの起動後に以下のような選択画面が出てくると思います。 好みによって選択しても構わないのです。ちなみに私はvimを選択しました。

標準ディストリビューションが推奨です。

What distribution of spacemacs would you like to start with?
The standard distribution, recommended (spacemacs)
A minimalist distribution that you can build on (spacemacs-base)

ivyがおすすめとの情報を見つけたので、ivyを選択しました。

What type of completion framework do you want?
A heavy one but full-featured (helm)
None (not recommended)
A lighter one but still very powerful (ivy)
